David Hubert attended the 2008 Democratic National Convention in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Hubert provided critical analysis of the week's events during phone discussions with Rob Branch in the Globe Radio studio. Seymour is most likely recognized for her work as Dr. Michaela (Mike) Quinn, from Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman, which was a mainstay on the CBS network from 1993-1998. A Globe Student Media crew was able to spend some time with Seymour during a recent visit to Salt Lake City. His acting career includes on-stage performances at the prestigious New York Shakespeare Festival, and a noteworthy on-screen portrayal of outlaw Jesse James in the 1980 movie The Long Riders. Keach's more recent work behind the camera involved producing the popular Johnny Cash biopic Walk the Line in 2005. Keach, who was in Salt Lake City to promote his latest endeavor as director, Blind Dating, elaborated on the necessary steps to begin a career in film.
