Tyler Smith is a new faculty member of the School of Arts and Communication. He brings a rich history of work in digital media, video production and web distribution to Salt Lake Community College. Smith recently wrote an article for the back to school edition of The Globe Newspaper detailing the expansive world of digital media and Globe Student Media's effectiveness within it. 	Award-Winning Media Do you have the potential to produce award-winning media? Watch the following public service announcement by a Salt Lake Community College student that recently received national attention.
	Sporting Events The Rocky Mountain Rumble is one the nation's premier amateur wrestling events. Students interested in sports production were part of the crew that produced the championships for web, DVD and cable release.
	Concerts Enjoy the energy of this promotional piece for the SLCC Dance Concert from Fall of 2006. A DVD and this promotional video were produced by Globe Student Media crews.
	Documentary The Thayne Center for Service and Learning at Salt Lake Community College is nationally recognized for their programs thanks in part to this documentary produced in partnership with them by Globe Student Media.
	News Campus events are constantly available for Globe Student Media crews like the Halloween Car Bash of 2006. The excellent destruction of this vehicle served a good cause in promoting Globe Radio while giving students great exercise in front and behind the camera.
